Dreaming of a Trip to Enjoy NSB Coastal Catch Restaurant Month

As a lifelong seafood aficionado, NSB Coastal Catch Restaurant Month is my dream coming true. But what makes it even better is the chance to win free flights, lodging, outdoor activities, and, of course, dining and drinks, courtesy of the NSB Area Visitor Bureau official giveaway! This prize package takes all the work out of planning the trip, so I can focus on what’s important: eating all the delectable, fresh seafood the area’s restaurants will be serving up!

I can already envision my journey: I’ll fly from New Haven, Connecticut, to Daytona Beach Airport on Avelo Airlines. Once I arrive, I’ll check into my one-bedroom condo at the Coconut Palms Beach Resort II, located right along the surf on South Atlantic Avenue. With numerous amenities onsite, including three pools, a picnic area, fitness facilities, and beach access, this is the perfect place to call home for my three-night stay.

I might begin my adventure aboard the Dolphin Discovery Boat Tour, courtesy of the Marine Discovery Center. During the cruise around the backwaters of the Indian River Lagoon, I’ll take in the diverse wildlife and natural beauty of this area and learn about conversation efforts to keep this special ecosystem thriving for generations to come. 

Afterward, I’ll visit New Smyrna Beach Brewing Co. to partake in the sweepstakes’ included brewery experience. With an array of beer types, from a crisp Kölsch to juicy IPAs and mouth-watering sours, I’m sure I’ll find a draft to quench my thirst. 

My favorite way to explore a new area is on two wheels, so I’m thrilled that the sweepstakes includes a two-day rental of fat-tire bikes from Beyond the Waves, delivered right to the condo. With their wider tires, I’ll be able to cruise both down the street and along the sand with ease. Plus, all that exercise will just stoke my appetite for more of the area’s delicious seafood! 

One of the dinners during the stay will be at The General Public House, an official participating restaurant in Coastal Catch Restaurant Month. Included in the prize package, they are offering a special menu bursting with scrumptious Southern cuisine and several tempting seafood dishes. I have a feeling I’ll be continuing my revelry of all things “Coastal Catch”—will I order a savory grilled swordfish steak or perhaps the decadent Florida lobster cake?

Now the hardest part: Who will I take with me when I win? The giveaway package is for two, so I’ll have to decide who among my friends is the biggest seafood lover, so we can share this dream vacation to NSB Coast Catch Restaurant Month!
