Explore the Culinary Scene in the New Smyrna Beach Area, Part II

Come savor the numerous restaurants offering creative menus for New Smyrna Beach Coastal Catch Restaurant Month. You’ll find mouthwatering seafood options, as well as other dishes, in prix fixe format for $39 or $59. Here’s a selection of participating eateries. where you can celebrate the area’s world-famous fresh-caught fish and shellfish.


Boston’s Fish House

Immerse yourself in a seafood extravaganza at Boston’s Fish House, right in the heart of town. Start off with Balsamic Glazed Scallops, or perhaps a pair of decadent Rockport Crab Cakes. Feel like you’re dining in Beantown with a plate of North End Seafood Linguine or the haddock, sea scallops, and jumbo Gulf shrimp in Boston’s Seafood Combination Dinner, which comes either fried, broiled, or Cajun style. Finish off your meal in style with a slice of either Boston Cream Pie or Key Lime Pie. 

Chase’s on the Beach

Enjoy your dinner with a view of the surf at this seaside eatery. Unwind after a day in the sun with one of the two prix fixe menus. For a lighter meal, the $39 menu offers a choice of Chicken Satay, Fried Mushrooms, or Fried Pickles to start, followed by Bourbon Salmon, Jerk Chicken, or Bourbon Burger for the main. A heartier choice includes a cocktail—Chase’s Rum Runner or Key Lime Mojito—an appetizer of Stuffed Mushrooms, Calamari, or Blacked Tuna Tips, and an entrée of Bourbon Salmon, Steak Argentine, or Mahi Scampi, all served with mashed potatoes and veggies. Both menus offer a choice of New York Style Cheesecake with Caramel Drizzle or Key Lime Pie for dessert. 


Flagler Tavern

Revel in the vibrant ambiance of Flagler Avenue with a meal at the Flagler Tavern. You can choose from two menus that offer a choice of appetizers, mains, and desserts. Whether you opt to start with Fried Oyster Deviled Eggs or the Signature Crab Cakes, select three Boom Boom Shrimp Tacos, Filet Mignon, or Fish ‘N Chips for your entrée, and wrap up with Rocks Glass Key Lime Pie or Chocolate Mousse Cake, you’re sure to walk away satisfied.

The Grille at Riverview

Take in the unbeatable view from the The Grille at Riverview during Coastal Catch Month! The $39 prix fixe menu includes a choice of Escargot, Baked Shrimp Parisian, or Sauteed Mussels for your appetizers. From there, enjoy either Prime Rib, grilled or blackeded Atlantic Salmon, or Chicken Française in a white wine lemon beurre blanc. And of couse, you’ll save room for either Raspberry Key Lime Pie, a Seasonal Cobbler, or Brownie Delight. Delight, indeed, is what you’ll find here!

Limoncello South

Stop into Limoncello South and feel like you’re dining along the coast of Italy. With two special menus celebrating the flavors of Coastal Catch Month, you can start with Antipasto Misto, Burrata, or Gamberi Portofino (sauteed shrimp, artichoke, and cherry tomatoes in a white wine lemon sauce). Then, decide among Salmon Piccata, Chicken Parmigiana, Lobster Fradiavolo, or Fish of the Day, among others. Relish the Italian dessert choices: Cannoli Siciliani, Tiramisu, and Limoncello Cake. Mange!

Outriggers Bar & Grille

Relax in the tiki-bar atmosphere at this scenic spot along the waterfront. Their Coastal Catch Month offering includes a bottle of wine, a choice of Bread, Butter, and Bruschetta Board, Bangin’ Shrimp, or Tuna Triangles to start with. Entrées include BBQ Ribs, Drunkin’ Chicken Park, or Walnut-Encrusted Fresh Catch. Loosen your belt and order a slice of either homemade Key Lime Pie or a Seasonal Cheesecake, baked by Patties Cheesecake, for dessert. 

Riverpark Terrace

Dine in a tropical garden at Riverpark Terrace, which focuses on modern American fare created with fresh, local ingredients. The $59 set menu offers several appetizers, including a Lamb Lollipop with Watermelon Salad, Short Rib Stuffed Pretzel Sticks, or a vegan Caesar Salad. The mains are the fish-based Chef’s Special of the Day, Steak au Poivre, Duck with a blackberry and sage sauce, or Sweet Corn Wontons. A vegan option of Terrace Cauliflower with a sweet and tangy Korean sauce is also available. Finish off your meal with Crème Brulée, a vegan Almond Bar, or another seasonal dessert.

Spanish River Grille

Thrill your tastebuds with Spanish flavors at this charming wine bar. Start your dining experience with a signature cocktail, included in the prix fixe options. You’ll get a choice of several tapas, including roasted season veggies with jamon Serrano, artichoke heart confit, grilled mushrooms, fried calamari with smoked pepper aioli, and baked shrimp. For the large plates, choose from a 12 oz. Ribeye steak, Crispy Chicken a la Plancha, or a hearty Cioppino with grilled crostini. The decadent desserts await you at the end of your meal, whether Burnt Basque Cheesecake, Olive Oil Cake with a Vermouth citrus rosemary glaze, or the OG Chocolate Bread Pudding, topped with candied cocoa-piment d’Espelette almonds, as a shoutout to the northwest region of Spain. 

Third Wave Café and Wine Bar

Offering three set menus (one brunch and two dinner), Third Wave Café & Wine Bar is sure to offer something to please everyone. All three menus offer a choice of Third Wave or Caesar Salad, with a Florida Smart Catch main, which features a fresh-caught fish with a crust of pecans with local mangrove honey, whiskey butter sauce, veggies, and mashed potatoes. The $59 dinner menu also includes an appetizer of house-made humus and veggies. The menus also include a dessert.
